Blacko Management is the label name credited on the phonogram line of Ghanaian artist Black Sherif’s commercial releases since March 2022. Apple Music’s catalogue metadata reads “Blacko Management / EMPIRE” on the single “Kwaku the Traveller” (31 March 2022) and on the album Iron Boy (2025); MusicBrainz’s registry entry for the earlier album The Villain I Never Was (5 October 2022) also lists EMPIRE and Blacko Management jointly as labels.
No public filing, registry entry or statement identifies Blacko Management’s legal form, ownership structure or relationship to Black Sherif’s management company, Road Boys Association (RBA), whose name appears instead of Blacko Management on two of MusicBrainz’s 2025 release entries for Black Sherif. Whether Blacko Management is a trading name for RBA’s recording operations, or a separate entity, could not be established from sources checked.
