Amari Musiq is a Nigerian record label and rights-holding entity built around dancehall artist Patoranking (Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie). Apple Music catalogue metadata credits Amari Musiq as phonogram holder on Patoranking’s own releases as far back as May 2014, functioning first as his personal masters credit through distribution arrangements with VP Records/VPAL (2015–2016) and EMPIRE (2018–2021), and independently since 2022.
Nigerian press (Guardian, Vanguard, Pulse) reported Patoranking relaunching Amari Musiq as a label with its own signed roster, including Grey C and Walid, in March 2018. Ownership has not been reported as anything other than Patoranking’s own; no co-founder, investor or outside equity stake has been identified in sources checked.
