Akazoo Limited

Akazoo Limited is a private limited company registered in Scotland, number SC344843. The UK register records it as incorporated on 24 June 2008 under the name R&R Music Limited, renamed Akazoo Limited on 28 October 2015. It is the operating group company whose audited consolidated accounts for the year ended 31 December 2018 reported group revenue of 104.8 million euro, an Africa geographic revenue segment, and a Ghanaian subsidiary, Akazoo Ghana.

Those accounts were filed at Companies House on 12 July 2019 and are still the last accounts on the register for the company. Akazoo S.A.’s special committee of independent directors later determined that the group’s historical financial statements were materially false and misleading. The company remains on the register with an active proposal to strike off, following a first Gazette notice on 28 November 2023 that was suspended on 16 January 2024.
