1789 Entertainment is an artist discovery and development imprint founded by Nigerian producer Osaretin Osabuohien, known professionally as Sarz. The company was incorporated in the UK on 15 February 2021, with Sarz listed on the Companies House register as the sole person with significant control, holding 75 per cent or more of shares. The imprint runs the Sarz Academy talent programme, which develops emerging artists and licenses the catalogue they produce.
1789 Entertainment is wholly controlled by Sarz; no other shareholder or investor appears on the public UK register.
