Read this before citing: This record rests on phonographic copyright lines published on release pages plus a company register entry. It is not built on a contract, and no contract has been seen. What a ℗ line establishes is who the releasing party asserts owns the sound recording; it does not disclose the term, the territory carve-outs, the royalty rate, the advance, or whether a reversion date exists. None of those were disclosed by any party and none should be inferred from this record.
The finding that F.C.A. and F'Victeam are the same legal person comes from the French register and is firm. It resolves what otherwise reads as a change of owner in spring 2025: the ℗ credit switches from the trade name "F'Victeam" (Mayanga, 29 March 2025) to the registered legal name "FCA" (Le Temps, 2 May 2025). That is a labelling change, not a transfer.
The claim about the ownership of XX : Délirium is the weakest link here and is flagged as such. The album is dated 18 September 2026 and no album-level ℗ line for it had been published as at 6 September 2026. The reading that F.C.A. owns those masters rests on the ℗ lines of six of its constituent singles (Wanna Dance, Complices, Ami chéri, Bonheur parfait, Sans Limite, Deux êtres), all of which name FCA. The album-level line may differ from its singles: on the XX half it did not, but on this half it has not yet been published. This record should be revisited after 18 September 2026.
There is one documented exception inside the F.C.A. period. The single Plus de larmes, 22 August 2025, carries "Warner Music France, ℗ 2025 Label Elektra France" rather than a licence line naming FCA. It appears on neither half of XX. Why it differs could not be established.
Apple's copyright field concatenates the © and ℗ notices into a single string and the order of the two is not consistent across releases, so wording such as "℗ 2026 Label Elektra France" on the singles Doucement, Jam and Ma diva has been read as Warner-side rather than as evidence of a separate Elektra legal person, on the strength of Exhibit 21.1. Readers who want to check the primary rendering should use the Apple Music release pages listed in the extra sources, where the credit line appears verbatim.
The two halves carry barcodes from different ranges: XX is 5026854850832 and XX : Délirium is 1200214313500. Which registrant holds each GS1 prefix could not be established and no conclusion is drawn from it.
Publishing is not covered. Who owns or administers the copyright in Fally Ipupa's compositions could not be established. The SACEM online repertory returned HTTP 403 from its content delivery network when queried on 6 September 2026, and no other authoritative work registration was located. The Bureau Congolais du Droit d'Auteur publishes no searchable repertory.
Dating. The Announced field carries 2026-04-17, the release date of XX and the first document in the current campaign that puts Warner Music France on the ℗ line without licence wording. The underlying relationship is older: the Managing Director of Elektra states on the record in an IFPI case study that he brought Fally Ipupa to Elektra France / Warner Music France in 2016, and the earliest documented instance of the exclusive licence structure is Control, 2 November 2018.
Neither Fally Ipupa, F.C.A., Warner Music France SAS nor Warner Music Group has commented on the split, and no request for comment forms part of this record.
Register status note. As at 6 September 2026 the French register shows F.C.A. as an administratively active legal unit with three establishments recorded and none open, the head office establishment (SIRET 53018936400033) carrying a closure date of 3 September 2026. An establishment closure in the French register is an administrative event about a place of business, not a dissolution of the company, and the legal unit remains active. What it reflects commercially could not be established.
Fally Ipupa’s master recordings are held by two different owners across the two halves of the same anniversary double album, and the documents that show it are the ℗ lines on the releases plus the French national company register.
XX, the 20-track first half released on 17 April 2026, carries the line “Label Elektra France, ℗ 2026 Warner Music France”. There is no licence wording. Warner Music France SAS is the named phonographic copyright owner.
XX : Délirium, the 51-track second half dated 18 September 2026, has no published album-level ℗ line yet. Every one of its singles released so far carries “Licence exclusive Warner Music France, Label Elektra France, ℗ 2026 FCA”. On that evidence those recordings are owned by FCA and licensed to Warner Music France, not owned by it.
FCA is not a third party. The French national company register records F.C.A., SIREN 530189364, as a société par actions simplifiée incorporated on 11 January 2011 whose commercial names are F.VICTEAM and FACTORY VICTORY TEAM, and whose Président de SAS is FALLI IPUPA N SIMBA. F.C.A. and F’Victeam are the same company, and that company is Fally Ipupa’s.
Elektra France is a label name, not a counterparty. Warner Music Group Corp.’s FY2025 Form 10-K Exhibit 21.1 lists Warner Music France SAS as a French subsidiary and lists Elektra entities incorporated only in the United States. No French Elektra legal entity appears.
