Dale Pututi and Nesty, two artists from Cuba, have signed a deal with Warner Music Latina. The agreement was announced Tuesday (Sept. 29) in partnership with their management company, Velodia Entertainment, led by Maria Velandia Melandri.
“We feel like this was the right time to make this happen,” the two Cuban artists said in a press statement. “We’ve been building, creating and watching Cuban music reach new places, so we’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful to begin this next chapter with Warner Music Latina. To have this partnership come together here in Miami, our home, makes it even more special. We can’t wait to see what we build together.”
Chart debut and recent releases#
The signing follows the duo’s first appearance on the charts this summer with “Los Despechaos”, a collaboration with Tito El Bambino. The song, which combines reparto with música Mexicana, is at No. 11 on Latin Rhythm Airplay and No. 35 on Latin Airplay.
From solo work to a duo#
Pututi, whose real name is Alejandro Arce, and Nesty, whose real name is Ernesto Alejandro Galguera, each led separate musical careers before joining forces for 2049, a four-track EP released in 2025 that shaped their era as a duo.
Since then, they have given Cuba’s reparto music a commercial touch. The genre was born in marginalized neighborhoods in Cuba and fuses urban sounds with folk styles such as timba and rumba, powered by the clave and drum pedal.
Together, they have released viral songs including:

- “Efímero” with former CNCO member Erick Brian
“Efímero” was voted a fan favorite New Music Latin release of the week in August.
Recent representation deals#
The Warner signing arrives weeks after the Cuban artists, who are currently touring Europe, signed a worldwide booking representation deal with Magnus. Additionally, Nesty signed a global publishing deal with Peermusic in June.
