AXIAN Group and the African Development Bank have launched a women’s financial inclusion programme to expand access to finance and business support for more than 34,000 women-led enterprises in five African countries.
The programme will be implemented through AXIAN Group’s digital financial services platforms, Mixx and Mvola. These platforms integrate the following services:
- digital lending
- financial literacy training
- business development services
- digital inclusion initiatives
The services are intended to help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
The initiative is supported by the African Development Bank’s Affirmative Finance Action for Women in Africa (AFAWA) programme.
