Adekunle Gold is set to headline the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, formerly known as the National Theatre, in Lagos, Nigeria, on December 26, 2026.
The booking follows a year after the singer became the first artiste to sell out the venue with his concert on December 26, 2025.
That performance filled the venue’s 3,560-capacity main hall, a milestone for live music in Nigeria. It blended orchestral arrangements with Afrobeats and featured appearances by Olamide, Adewale Ayuba and Yinka Ayefele.
Following the concert, the singer received commemorative plaques recognising the record-breaking show.
His return this December is set to be another Detty December event, with the singer aiming to recreate the impact of last year’s performance.
