The Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) is Ghana’s collective management organisation for music, based in Accra. It is the body licensed to administer collective rights in musical works, sound recordings and performances, licensing radio, television, venues and businesses and collecting and distributing royalties to rights holders.
GHAMRO succeeded earlier Ghanaian collecting bodies and represents the broadcast, public-performance, mechanical and, in some cases, synchronisation rights of its members.
