Lynx Entertainment is a Ghanaian music company based in Accra, founded in 2006 by the producer and singer-songwriter Richie Mensah. It began as a recording and artist-development operation and became one of the best-known label brands in Ghanaian pop, launching or developing the careers of Eazzy, MzVee, KiDi, Kuami Eugene and DopeNation.
The company is independent and controlled by its founder, and now sits under a wider Lynx Group umbrella. In 2026 Richie Mensah announced that the business was stepping back from artist management to concentrate on music distribution and electronics.
It matters as a case study in Ghanaian label-building: a producer-led independent that supplied a large share of Accra’s chart pop over two decades before pivoting its model.
