Fireboy DML’s third album, Playboy, has surpassed 1.1 billion streams on Spotify. The milestone makes it the eighth Nigerian album to reach that figure on the platform, reinforcing Fireboy DML’s standing among the genre’s biggest streaming acts.
Released on August 4, 2022, the 14-track project has sustained its streaming momentum, driven by hits including “Peru,” “Bandana,” “Playboy” and “Diana.” The remix of “Peru” featuring Ed Sheeran and “Bandana” featuring Asake have contributed significantly to the album’s streaming total.
More than four years after its release, “Playboy” continues to attract millions of streams.
