Pasuma, a Fuji music veteran, has released “Fuji Afro”, a 12-track album that combines traditional Fuji sounds with contemporary Afrobeats and hip-hop influences. The project features Nigerian artists Olamide, Qdot and Terry Apala, bringing together different musical generations and styles.
The three guest appearances are:
- Olamide on “Ijo Alhaji”
- Qdot joining Pasuma on “Up Up Way”
- Terry Apala on the closing track, “Apala Fuji”
The album is Pasuma’s return to a full-length crossover project, a decade after his 2016 album, “My World.” It shows his willingness to experiment with modern sounds while keeping the musical identity that has defined his career.
