Nzoundi Bell 1er has released “Luv U Mom,” an Afro-fusion song that celebrates the love, patience and sacrifices mothers make for their children. Although he has only recently begun pursuing music as a full-time career, he has been developing his sound, writing and recording since 2014.
His musical journey began with “Ne pleure pas dad,” a personal tribute to his father during an illness, written to offer him strength and hope. He later explored gospel R&B on songs including “J’ai besoin de ta grâce Seigneur,” “It’s My Time” and “Yahweh Merci.”
Encouragement from his family, particularly his older brother Cyrille, has helped him keep going. After an extended period in China and support from artists Lockchou and RomyAmpayeur, he now feels ready to take his music to a wider audience.
“Luv U Mom” continues his personal approach to songwriting. It was written and recorded independently, without the backing of a professional studio, and came together through a natural creative process.
Drawing on his own experiences and feelings, Nzoundi celebrates the love, patience and sacrifices mothers make for their children. Beyond introducing listeners to his evolving Afro-fusion sound, the song points to the people whose love has helped shape their lives.
