Emerging Nigerian recording artist Skinnybadboi is set to introduce his artistic identity with “STARTER PACK I,” a seven-track project that explores his experiences, ambitions and evolving musical direction while teasing the forthcoming “STARTER PACK II.”
Blending contemporary Afrobeats influences with an Afro-centric perspective and street-rooted expression, the project explores themes of desire, emotion, personal growth and the pursuit of happiness. It also reflects on the balance between relevance and reinvention, as well as the contrasting mindsets of achievers and enjoyers.
Rather than presenting a complete story, “STARTER PACK I” serves as an introduction to Skinnybadboi’s creative world, offering listeners a glimpse into the ideas and experiences shaping his sound.
With “STARTER PACK II” coming soon, the artist plans to expand on the concept and further develop his musical identity.
