Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has released her third studio album, “Starrgirl”, a project that moves away from the age-themed titles of her earlier records.
The album follows “19 & Dangerous” and “The Year I Turned 21” and adopts a title that emphasises Starr’s artistic identity. “Starrgirl” weaves together vibrant Afrobeats rhythms, smooth R&B textures, and experimental edges, reflecting her evolution as a musician and cultural figure.
Guest appearances on the album come from Rema, Wizkid, Zayn, Theodora, kwn, and Danny Ocean. Each collaboration adds variety while keeping Starr’s distinctive voice and songwriting at the centre.
