Applications are open for the CANEX Music Business Lab and Songwriting Camp, which will take place from 5 to 8 November 2026 at the National Theatre in Lagos, Nigeria, as part of CANEX WKND 2026.
The four-day programme will bring together independent artists, songwriters, music producers, instrumentalists and sound engineers for music business training, collaboration and songwriting.
The Music Business Lab will run on 5 and 6 November, with two masterclasses exploring how music is created, owned, released and monetised. The sessions will also examine revenue opportunities beyond streaming.
The songwriting camp will follow on 7 and 8 November, giving selected participants the opportunity to write and record new music with producers and engineers. The organisers plan to release the resulting music after CANEX WKND.
Interested applicants must complete the online application form by Sunday, 18 October 2026.
