App Store Indie Games Week featuring Sifu, Vampire Crawlers, and No Man’s Sky

App Store Indie Games Week begins today, bringing seven independent titles to iPhone and iPad for download or pre-order, including Sifu, Vampire Crawlers, and No Man’s Sky. Players worldwide can access the titles, and the weeklong showcase will feature daily highlights and curated collections across the store.

“Indie games are constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity to deliver unique gameplay experiences to Apple users, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate these games and the teams that take creative risks to push gaming forward,” said Carson Oliver, Apple’s head of App Store Worldwide. “Whether from a solo developer or a growing studio, the App Store gives bold ideas a global stage, turning daring visions into worldwide hits. We’re thrilled with the incredible games launching on the App Store this week and amazed by their breathtaking artistry, brilliant design, and deeply moving stories.”

Seven titles join the catalog#

  • Sifu: a third-person brawler following a kung fu student’s path of revenge, adapted for iPhone and iPad with touch controls, a reworked camera system, and controller support.
  • Vampire Crawlers: a gothic card battler and spin-off of Vampire Survivors that mixes tactical deck building with dark humor.
  • No Man’s Sky: Hello Games’ space exploration title, making its mobile debut on October 28 with all major content expansions, including the Cosmos update.
  • Little Kitty, Big City: an open-world adventure starring a curious feline in a metropolis.
  • 9 Kings: a strategic kingdom builder where players assemble card armies against royal adversaries.
  • Dome Keeper: an alien mining simulator focused on digging deep and fending off foes.
  • Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall: a narrative game built around moral choices and saving a crumbling empire.

Combat, cards, and space exploration#

Sifu centers on a young kung fu student on a relentless path of revenge. Enemies attack simultaneously, forcing players to parry strikes, chain combos, and use objects in the environment as weapons. The iPhone and iPad version includes custom-tuned touch controls, a reworked camera system, and full controller support.

Vampire Crawlers offers quick bursts of strategy and dark humor. The spin-off of Vampire Survivors replaces bullet dodging with tactical deck building, challenging players to complete chaotic dungeon runs by discovering card combos, uncovering secret relics, and mastering the draw.

No Man’s Sky, the space odyssey from Hello Games after a decade of continuous evolution, arrives on iPhone and iPad on October 28. The mobile release includes every major content expansion to date, including the most recent Cosmos update, which lets players command their own space stations. Set in an infinite, procedurally generated universe rendered entirely at runtime, the game allows exploration, trade, combat, and survival across an interconnected galaxy.

More indie titles and discovery#

The remaining four titles are available now on the App Store and will be featured throughout Indie Games Week. Players can also explore an in-depth overview of indie gems curated by App Store editors, and Mac users can browse a separate guide to standout indie titles.
