KaniBeatz and PK Drop ‘Popsicle’, a UK Club and Afrobeats Fusion
KaniBeatz and PK have released ‘Popsicle’, a new single that merges UK club energy with Afrobeats and grime.
UK-based producer and songwriter KaniBeatz has released ‘Popsicle’, a new single featuring PK of the London grime collective YGG. The track combines bright melodies, driving percussion, and a club-ready pulse.
KaniBeatz previously worked with Nigerian artists Joeboy and Teni on the single ‘Mr Man’. ‘Popsicle’ continues his exploration of melodic songwriting set against contemporary UK dance production, while PK’s vocal delivery adds a raw, distinctive edge rooted in years of underground experience.
The record moves across UK garage, Afrobeats, house, and grime without adhering strictly to any one genre. Its upbeat, spontaneous character positions it for summer playlists, festival stages, and DJ sets.
For KaniBeatz, the collaboration marks a personal milestone. Having followed PK’s music for years, creating together felt like a full-circle moment, and the energy between the two artists is audible throughout the track.
