Tieme Music is a label-services, distribution and publishing company founded in Accra, Ghana in 2022 by Franck and Charlene Osei-Mensah. It offers independent African artists distribution to streaming platforms, marketing and rights administration, operating a multi-account structure split across distribution, publishing and live events. Its roster has included Kwesi Arthur, Jay Bahd, Kwaku DMC, Quamina MP and Kofi Mole, and in 2023 it signed a partnership with The Orchard.
The company’s publishing and some recording rights are administered through a French entity, ODPMG (SIREN 913075834), registered in Puteaux with Franck Osei-Mensah as sole gerant. Song credits on recordings by the Ivorian rapper Himra read “Tieme Music Publishing (Odpmg) – SACEM,” which is the documentary link between the Ghanaian brand and the French registration. No shareholder register has been filed for ODPMG, so its ownership beyond Osei-Mensah’s management role is not separately established.
Tieme Music is African-owned rather than a subsidiary of a non-African distributor or major, which places it among the independent label-services operators building distribution infrastructure for Francophone and Anglophone West African artists rather than reselling a foreign platform’s access.
