VeryDarkMan Accuses IVD of Introducing Blessing CEO to Drugs

Nigerian social media critic VeryDarkMan has accused Lagos-based auto dealer IVD of introducing Blessing CEO to drugs and says he is working to secure her release from prison.

VeryDarkMan, a Nigerian social media critic, has accused Lagos-based auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IVD, of introducing Blessing CEO to drugs. He made the claim in an Instagram video on Tuesday while announcing that he is working to secure her release from prison.

Blessing CEO, who presents herself as a relationship expert, was remanded earlier this year over a 69.15 million naira property fraud trial and an allegation that she scammed the public of 36 million naira under false stage 4 cancer claims.

Bail and fraud cases#

She was granted bail in July 2026 in two cases:

  • 10 million naira bail in the 36 million naira scam case
  • 20 million naira bail in the alleged 69.15 million naira property fraud trial

Months after the bail rulings, Nigerian actress Doris Ogala questioned why authorities had not signed her release despite her meeting bail conditions. Ogala raised the question on Instagram while reacting to the death of Blessing CEO’s second son, who reportedly had an asthma attack.

Drug allegations#

In the viral video, VeryDarkMan said he recently discovered that IVD introduced Blessing CEO to drugs. He accused both of being drug addicts and said Blessing CEO began scamming people after selling her properties to buy drugs.

“With the recent things that I have discovered about Blessing CEO, to be honest, I think I’m committed to helping her now because a lot of things that I could not understand why she was doing them started making sense to me now with what I have discovered.”

“I consulted a lot of my friends, they said abeg, leave her. But I recently discovered that Blessing CEO and IVD were drug addicts. They were injecting themselves with drugs, which makes a lot of sense if you look at some of her past videos. And this same IVD and his former wife Bimbo were both doing drugs. So apparently it was IVD that introduced Blessing to drugs.”

“They did drugs to a point where Blessing CEO started selling her properties including her cars. And when they didn’t have money to buy drugs again, she came up with the idea of scamming the public by saying that she had cancer. She started scamming a lot of people. If you contact her for an advert, she will collect your money to do drugs. So she ended up scamming a lot of people, sold properties and then came up with the cancer scam just because she needed something to inject herself and IVD.”

“Please don’t send her money when she’s out. She has to go to rehab for at least six months. Any money coming to her now will be used for drugs. They’ve paid all the money for her bail. I don’t know what is holding the bail but we’re doing something underground. We will try our best to make sure that she comes out as soon as possible.”

IVD, described as Blessing CEO’s lover, had not publicly denied the allegation at the time this report was filed.
