Made Men Music Group

Lagos label co-founded by Iyanya and Ubi Franklin in 2011, credited as phonogram rights holder on dozens of Iyanya releases; no company website found.

Based in
Lagos, Nigeria

Made Men Music Group is a Nigerian record label associated with the singer Iyanya, who is named as a co-founder of the company alongside Ubi Franklin in a March 2021 press release issued on behalf of Sheer Music Publishing.

Apple’s catalogue for Iyanya carries the Made Men phonogram credit on 25 of 128 collections, with release dates running from 2012 to 2026. On 22 of those collections the credit is shared with Ziiki Media, in forms including “Made Men Music Group / Ziiki Media” and “Made Men Music Group, distributed by Ziiki Media”. The shared credits are dated 2021 and later.

It matters because the label, not any publisher, is the entity recorded as the phonogram rights holder across most of Iyanya’s released recordings, including releases issued after his publishing representation moved to a Downtown-owned company.
