Big Dreams Entertainment is an independent Cameroonian record label and artist management company founded in Yaounde in December 2014 by Gervais Ngongang, a Cameroonian producer and manager. One source names a co-founder, Kevin Ketchanga. The label’s best-known work was signing and producing singer Locko from January 2015, releasing his debut single “Margo” in 2015 and his debut album The Bridge in February 2018, before Locko moved on to Universal Music Africa that June.
No Cameroonian company register is publicly searchable, so Big Dreams Entertainment’s incorporation, ownership structure and current legal status cannot be independently confirmed. What is established comes from Ngongang’s own broadcast interview and from Cameroonian and pan-African music press (Music In Africa, CRTV) describing the label as Locko’s home before his major-label move. Ngongang has since held roles including a stint heading Universal Music Africa; whether he still runs Big Dreams Entertainment day to day is not established.
The company has no located standalone website; its public presence runs through a Facebook business page and a Bandcamp artist page. It matters in the Cameroonian market as one of the independent labels, alongside houses like Alpha Better Records, credited with launching the country’s current wave of urban and R&B artists before they moved to international majors.
