Koratori, which describes itself on its own site as “The Koratori Co.,” is a Lagos-based talent development, management and recording group founded by Anthony Egwu. It operates through several linked arms: management, recording, and a live-event series called Higher Vibrations that the company dates to 2017. Its recording arm has held the phonogram credit on Lojay’s catalogue since September 2022, appearing across releases under the names “Koratori Recordings,” “Koratori,” and, from October 2024, “Koratori Music.”
Ownership is not publicly documented. No share register or filing names an owner, and the company’s own site says only that it is “primarily led by” Egwu, its founder and manager. Whether Lojay holds any equity in the entity credited on his own masters has not been established by any source. The catalogue reaches streaming services through The Orchard, credited on YouTube’s auto-generated release pages, though the terms of that distribution arrangement are not disclosed.
The named roster on Koratori’s own site is small — Lojay and Tomi Thomas — but Lojay’s catalogue, including the 2025 album XOXO, gives the group’s recording arm a higher public profile than its size would otherwise suggest. Egwu is separately credited by trade press as executive producer of Lojay’s 2023 EP Gangster Romantic.
