Brew Marketing Consult Ghana Limited is a co-defendant, alongside Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) personally and alongside Menzgold Ghana Limited, in the Attorney General’s 39-count criminal case in Ghana. Citi Newsroom’s report of NAM1’s 19 September 2023 not-guilty plea, entered on behalf of himself and both companies, quotes the charge: “Nana Appiah Mensah through Menzgold Ghana Limited and Brew Marketing company induced Menzgold customers to part with GHc 1.68 billion.” No source read by this desk independently describes the company’s ordinary trading activity beyond what is stated in that charge and in related court testimony.

A police investigator’s High Court testimony states that GHS 26,930,997.00 moved from Brew Marketing into Zylofon Media between March and December 2017, and a further GHS 55,549,814.00 moved from a Brew Marketing account at Bank of Africa between January and April 2018, a combined GHS 82,480,811.00, the larger of the two components in the GHS 84,480,811.00 total the investigator attributes to Menzgold and Brew Marketing combined moving into Zylofon Media. The same testimony states that GHS 155,552,141.30 moved from Brew Consult into Nana Appiah Mensah’s personal account, and a further GHS 66,000,000.00 by cheque to his sister, Abigail Mensah.

No source read establishes Brew Marketing’s incorporation date, ownership structure or current trading status. Ghana’s Registrar General has no public filing API and no manual search was run. NAM1 has pleaded not guilty on behalf of himself and both companies; the trial before the Accra High Court is unresolved.
