Blulyt has released a video for “Want It All,” a track from the project Shades of Blu, that follows a young woman’s path from a rural hometown to a record deal and back home.
From Struggle to Discovery#
On Shades of Blu, Blulyt sings, “I’m looking up, you know where I’m from, that’s why I cannot stop.” The video gives that line a physical arc, picking up where the lyric ends and following its tension between gratitude and hunger.
The video opens with a young woman leaving a rural hometown for a city. It does not skip past the unglamorous stretch. The viewer sits with her in the grind, in rooms where nobody is watching yet, before she is discovered, signed, and set on a new trajectory.
The Homecoming Ending#
The video closes not on the deal or the studio, but on a return home. The people who watched her ambition grow from something small and private into something undeniable are waiting for her. Wanting it all was never about leaving where she is from behind. It was about proving to the people who knew her first what was possible from there.
