Northside Entertainment Limited is a Lagos company reported founded around 2005, predating and distinct from the separately incorporated Northside Music Limited. On Peter Okoye’s own court testimony, it was set up as the shared vehicle through which P-Square, the recording duo of Peter and Paul Okoye, and their brother Jude Okoye received royalty income, including SACEM performing-rights payments from France.
Ownership is contested within the Okoye family’s own evidence. Peter Okoye has given differing account of the shareholding split among the three brothers in testimony before the Lagos High Court in Ikeja, and separately admitted under questioning, on 21 February 2026, that he is a co-signatory to the company’s bank account, contradicting an earlier public claim that Jude Okoye was the sole signatory. On 21 September 2026, Peter testified to receiving approximately $800,000 in SACEM royalties between 2016 and 2026 that he did not share with Jude.
The dispute over Northside Entertainment sits alongside, but is legally separate from, the EFCC money-laundering charges concerning Northside Music. No Corporate Affairs Commission filing has been independently pulled to confirm the company’s registered shareholding, and the percentages given in testimony are not reconciled on any source read.
