The label’s public profile rests on a 2021 dispute with singer Bella Shmurda: Nigerian press, including The Guardian Nigeria, reported the company suing Bella Shmurda for roughly N200 million over an alleged copyright and contract breach, asserting it had signed him and held rights to recordings dating to 2019.
