E’Major and Real Macoy

E’Major, a Nigerian Afropop artist, has released a new single titled “Adaobi” with Real Macoy.

The record is a love song centered on a woman set apart from others. Its title comes from an Igbo name meaning “first daughter,” and the lyrics move across Igbo, Yoruba and Nigerian Pidgin to tell a story of admiration, devotion and deliberate affection.

E’Major sings about moving beyond words to demonstrate his feelings, saying he would cross the seven seas for the woman he has chosen and placed above others. Real Macoy adds a second vocal presence that gives the track a conversational tone.

The production takes a relaxed Afropop approach, with a hook and romantic writing aimed at date nights, late-night drives and dedications.
