Fred Ball, a songwriter and producer based in London, United Kingdom, has signed a publishing deal with Reservoir. United States country trio Midland has separately renewed its global publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music Nashville.
Fred Ball and Reservoir#
Ball has co-written and co-produced songs including “Love on the Brain,” “713” and “Heard About Us.” His collaborators include Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Madonna.
The Reservoir deal covers Ball’s future works. He has also worked with:

With Rihanna, Ball co-wrote “Love on the Brain,” which peaked at No. 5 on the main US singles chart and was recognised as the most influential pop single of 2017. That same year, Ball was ranked among the top 10 producers in the United States.
Ball also contributed to Mariah Carey’s album Caution and to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s album Everything Is Love.

Midland and Warner Chappell Music Nashville#
Warner Chappell Music Nashville has renewed its global publishing agreement with Grammy-nominated country trio Midland. The group is known for songs including “Drinkin’ Problem,” “Burn Out,” “Cheatin’ Songs” and “Make A Little.”
Midland said in a statement: “Warner Chappell has been part of the Midland story for a long time, and we’re really proud of everything we’ve accomplished together. They’ve always understood how important the songs are to us and have given us the support and freedom to keep making music that feels true to who we are. We’re excited to keep building on what we’ve started with a team that really believes in this band and where we’re going.”
