Small World Records is a Ghanaian independent record label and publishing operation founded by SmallGod, the British-Ghanaian DJ, artist manager and culture curator, whose wider operation also runs a fashion arm under the same name. The label releases Afrobeats, drill and highlife-influenced records by Ghanaian and diaspora artists, very often as multi-artist collaborations, and its catalogue includes records with Black Sherif, Kweku Flick, Joeboy, Beenie Man, Olivetheboy, Larruso and Jaz Karis.
On 22 November 2023 Warner Music Group announced a worldwide partnership between Small World Records and two Warner businesses: ADA, Warner’s distribution and label-services division, and Warner Chappell Music, its publishing company. No party described the arrangement as an equity investment, a joint venture or an acquisition, and the announcement stated that SmallGod would continue to lead Small World’s operations. No consideration was disclosed.
