South Korea’s Jiselle and SUMMER CAKE Blend Afrobeats on ‘LET THEM’

Jiselle and SUMMER CAKE

South Korean R&B and pop artists Jiselle and SUMMER CAKE have released ‘LET THEM’, a single that places Afrobeats rhythms beneath their contrasting vocal styles.

Jiselle, who debuted in 2019, has built a presence in South Korea’s R&B and pop scene with restrained, warm vocals and emotionally detailed songwriting.

SUMMER CAKE is a South Korean R&B and pop artist who writes, composes and produces her own material, and whose vocal approach has shaped a distinctive sound.

On ‘LET THEM’, the two artists work with Afrobeats production, using its rhythmic bounce and upbeat energy as a foundation for their smoother deliveries. Their complementary voices give the track its character, resulting in a record that is polished, expressive and melodic.
