Asake's Lungu Boy album

Nigerian artist Asake’s album Lungu Boy has passed 550 million streams on Spotify, moving ahead of Wizkid’s Morayo to become the 16th most streamed Nigerian project on the platform.

The 2024 release reached 550.4 million streams, just above Morayo at 550.3 million. It now ranks as the third most streamed Nigerian project released in 2024.

The two 2024 projects ahead of it are:

  • Ayra Starr’s TYIT’21 with 1.4 billion streams
  • TemsBorn in the Wild with 992 million streams

More than two years after its release, the 2024 album continues to post strong streaming figures, reinforcing its position among Nigeria’s biggest streaming projects.
