Described in June 2026 as Qing Madi's current record label. Credited on Apple Music as an artist alongside her, and named as phonogram owner on her 2026 releases with MAD Solutions LLC.
KFMD is described in June 2026 reporting, and in a statement issued in its own name on 5 June 2026, as the current record label of the Nigerian singer Qing Madi.
Its role in the catalogue metadata is not the role of a label in the conventional sense. Apple Music lists KFMD as a credited artist rather than a label, with releases billed as by “KFMD & Qing Madi” or “KFMD, Qing Madi & Zinoleesky”. Deezer carries KFMD as an artist with two releases. The phonogram credits name it as an owner: the single “Pepper Me”, released 17 April 2026, reads “℗ 2026 KFMD / MAD Solutions LLC”, and the seven-track project “Barely Legal”, released 29 May 2026, reads “℗ 2026 KFMD / MAD Capital Partners, under exclusive license to MAD Solutions LLC”.
In its 5 June 2026 statement KFMD said that in Suit No. LD/5242CMW/2025 before the High Court of Lagos State, JTON Entertainment Limited is the claimant and applicant and Qing Madi the defendant, and that on 25 May 2026 the Hon Justice T. B. Sunmonu ruled that the management contracts JTON relied on were executed when the singer was 16, were infancy contracts, were voidable, and were validly repudiated on her reaching adulthood. This desk has not obtained the judgment and does not adopt that characterisation.
The company could not be resolved to a corporate register, and no jurisdiction of formation, registration number or ownership record has been obtained. What the letters KFMD stand for is not stated in any document obtained. Its relationship to MAD Solutions LLC and MAD Capital Partners, both of which appear alongside it in phonogram credits, has not been established.
