Blowtime Entertainment is a Lagos recording imprint operating under Mavin Records. Don Jazzy announced it on 31 May 2019, fronted by Mavin in-house producer Baby Fresh, and unveiled the singer Crayon as its first signing on the same day. Crayon’s debut EP Cray Cray followed on 12 July 2019.
The imprint is not independent. It appears as a co-named phonogram copyright owner beside Mavin Records and Mavin Global Holdings Ltd across Crayon’s catalogue, and since Universal Music Group announced a majority investment in Mavin Global in February 2024 it has sat inside a UMG-controlled group. No corporate filing setting out Blowtime’s own shareholding has been located; Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission has no public search interface and a UK Companies House search returned nothing.
Blowtime credits run from July 2019 to June 2025. Crayon left the Mavin group in March 2026 and launched his own imprint, Olodum Entertainment, and no Blowtime credit line has appeared since. The imprint has no website of its own; its only direct channel is an Instagram account.
