960 Music Group

Nigerian investment company that bought equity stakes in Hypertek Digital and Aristokrat Records in 2013.

Based in
Nigeria

960 Music Limited (960 Music Group) is a Nigerian-registered entertainment and investment company. In 2013 it bought close to 40 per cent of both Hypertek Digital and Aristokrat Music, a Nigerian trade report of the time citing a reported price of “20 million” against each label without stating a currency.

960 Music Group remains a shareholder in Aristokrat as of 2026 and is currently suing in the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt (960 Music Ltd v. Aristokrat Records Nigeria Limited & Ors, FHC/PH/CS/188/2024) to void Aristokrat’s 2024 sale of Burna Boy’s early catalogue and master recordings to Spaceship Music, on the grounds the sale bypassed its 40 per cent stake. No website or further corporate detail for 960 Music Group has been located; 960music.com does not resolve.
