ACRCloud

Audio fingerprinting and broadcast-monitoring platform; contracted radio monitoring supplier to Zambia's ZAMCOPS collecting society.

ACRCloud is an automatic content recognition (ACR) platform that sells audio fingerprinting for music identification, broadcast monitoring, copyright compliance and metadata matching, delivered as APIs and SDKs to broadcasters, PROs and labels. It states its reference database holds more than 150 million tracks. The company discloses no registered legal entity, incorporation jurisdiction or headquarters city on its own site; its about, terms and privacy pages all resolve to the same homepage content.

ACRCloud’s African relevance rests on one documented engagement: it is the contracted radio broadcast monitoring supplier to the Zambia Music Copyright Protection Society (ZAMCOPS), Zambia’s sole music collecting society. The partnership was announced in ACRCloud’s own newsroom in February 2025 and is independently corroborated by a site-wide footer credit on ZAMCOPS’s own website. Terms, fees and station scope of the arrangement have not been disclosed by either party.
