Sarkcess Music is the recording label of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie (Michael Owusu Addo), founded in Accra in 2014. It has released his own studio albums since Highest (2017) and has signed other Ghanaian acts to its roster, including producer-singer Akwaboah in 2016. From at least 2019 through 2022, three consecutive Sarkodie albums (Black Love, No Pressure, Jamz) carried a joint Sarkcess Music and Ziiki Media label credit, with Ziiki Media, a Johannesburg-based distributor, listed on Sarkodie’s official artist roster page as of this record.
Sarkcess Music is distinct from Sarkodie’s songwriting and publishing rights, which Sony Music Publishing’s UK office began administering under a separate deal announced in August 2021. No Ghanaian or UK corporate registry filing for a company of this name has been checked for this record, so ownership here reflects reported ownership, not a confirmed registered entity.
