Imolenization was the Lagos recording imprint founded in 2022 by MohBad (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba) after he left Naira Marley’s Marlian Music. The name comes from his own moniker, Imole. He released the EP Blessed through it on 30 June 2023, along with singles including Ask About Me.
The imprint was independent and, on all available reporting, wholly owned by MohBad. It did not sign to another label: its releases carry the copyright line “Imolenization, under exclusive licence to ONErpm”, the distributor rather than a label owner, and official uploads routed to ONErpm links.
MohBad died on 12 September 2023. No source located establishes who controls the imprint or its catalogue since, and no confirmed activity has followed. Imolenization has no website; two candidate sites were checked and neither is confirmed as the company’s own.
