Warner Records Germany Launches in Berlin Led by Lea Londa

Warner Music Central Europe has launched Warner Records Germany in Berlin, appointing Lea Londa as director of the new frontline label.

Warner Music Central Europe has launched Warner Records Germany, a frontline label based in Berlin, Germany, the company announced Tuesday. The imprint is designed to connect the Warner Records brand’s U.S. heritage with the German market.

Lea Londa has been appointed Director of Warner Records Germany, reporting to Jean-Sebastien Permal, Senior Vice President of A&R (artists and repertoire) for Central Europe and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Londa, a 16-year industry executive, has spent more than a decade at Warner Music Central Europe, rising from Media Manager to Marketing Director.

Londa’s track record#

Londa has led promotional campaigns across genres for artists including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Enya and Linkin Park. Her work with domestic talent includes:

  • Leading the campaign for Udo Lindenberg and Apache 207’s “Komet,” the longest-running No. 1 German single in history.
  • Supporting the breakthrough of Provinz, one of Germany’s most influential bands for years.
  • Running campaigns that produced multiple gold and platinum records for Robin Schulz.
  • Developing breakthrough artist MilleniumKid.
