Golden Angel LLC

Master-recordings rights company of the Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae, which licenses her catalogue to Interscope rather than assigning it.

Founder
Amaarae (Ama Serwah Genfi)

Golden Angel LLC is the master-recordings rights company of the Ghanaian-American singer Amaarae (Ama Serwah Genfi), who is based in Accra. It appears as the sole phonogram copyright holder on her releases across at least three years: the 2022 Vigro Deep amapiano remix of Sad Girlz Luv Money, the 2023 album Fountain Baby and the 2025 album Black Star.

The structure is the point of the entry. Each of those releases names a different major-affiliated licensee, most consistently Interscope Records, but the copyright line stays with Golden Angel LLC throughout, worded as under exclusive licence. That is the standard marker of a licensing deal rather than an assignment: the recordings sit with the artist’s own company and the major gets exploitation rights for a term. The company is artist-owned, with no major-label parent identified.

Golden Angel LLC should not be confused with Golden Child, or Golden Child Entertainment, the public-facing imprint name used on the same releases and in most trade coverage of Amaarae’s label affiliation. The copyright credit lines read Golden Angel LLC. The company has no website; its jurisdiction of incorporation, which the LLC suffix suggests is in the United States, has not been confirmed against any registry.
