LyricFind and Monetunes Partner for Lyric Licensing and Royalty Collection

LyricFind, a lyric licensing and data solutions company, has reached an agreement with Monetunes, a global music royalty collection and administration platform, to license lyrics and collect royalties for rightsholders on digital services.

Under the deal, LyricFind will license and deliver lyrics for works administered by Monetunes to platforms including Google, TikTok, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Audi, Deezer, Pandora, and Qobuz. LyricFind will track licensed lyric usage, provide detailed reporting, and send collected royalties to Monetunes for distribution to songwriters and rightsholders.

The catalogue covered by the agreement includes recordings by Daddy Yankee, Zedd, Chance the Rapper, Roberta Flack, and others.

The partnership extends Monetunes’ administration capabilities beyond the performance, mechanical, neighboring rights, live performance, and sync income it already manages for its clients, which include independent and label-affiliated artists, songwriters, producers, labels, and management companies. Monetunes clients will also gain access to LyricFind’s specialized lyric-usage reporting across platforms and territories, while LyricFind’s global licensing ecosystem adds a new pool of independently administered works.
