Royal MusiQ Celebrates As ‘SZEID’ Continues To Lead Apple Music Charts Following Its Release

South African producer Royal MusiQ is marking a chart milestone as his latest studio album SZEID remains No. 1 on the Apple Music album chart two weeks after its release.

The double-disc project arrived on 3 August 2026 as a birthday release for the Emalahleni-born DJ and producer. It has held the top spot since then.

Royal MusiQ shared a message on Instagram thanking listeners who streamed the album and kept it at No. 1. He also addressed critics.

“2 Weeks Later, 2 Discs, Still No.1 🥶🧊Thank you to everyone who stood with me and kept SZEID at the top❄️🥇,” Royal MusiQ wrote. “To the haters, tweeters, and deleters: you only made it louder.”

Album details

SZEID is a double-disc release with 16 tracks and a runtime of one hour and 35 minutes. It includes collaborations with Uncle Waffles, Mellow & Sleazy, Focalistic and JayLokas.

Chart impact

Beyond the album chart, two songs from SZEID entered the Apple Music All Genre Top 10 singles chart in the same period.

Royal MusiQ, originally from Emalahleni in South Africa, has built a profile in Amapiano through his Harvard Amapiano sound, prominent log drums and collaborations. The album moves between soulful and melodic moments and energetic Amapiano cuts across its two discs.

Two weeks after release, SZEID remains No. 1 on the Apple Music album chart.
