The Bureau Guineen du Droit d’Auteur (BGDA) is Guinea’s collective management organisation for copyright and neighbouring rights, based in Conakry and created by decree in 1980.
It is a multidisciplinary public administrative and professional body with legal personality and financial autonomy, operating under the technical supervision of the Ministry of Culture and the financial supervision of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. It protects and administers the rights of authors, publishers, performers, producers and broadcasters across literary, artistic, phonogram and videogram works.
