Alex Warren's single RESCUER

Alex Warren Shares New Single ‘RESCUER’ Ahead of WILDCHILD Album

Alex Warren has released 'RESCUER,' a single dedicated to his wife Kouvr Annon, ahead of his sophomore album WILDCHILD, due August 28.

Alex Warren has released “RESCUER,” the newest single from his forthcoming sophomore album WILDCHILD, as his sold-out Finding Family On The Road Tour begins.

The song is written as a tribute to his wife, Kouvr Annon, and centers on the support she provided during a difficult period in his life. “When I was at my absolute lowest, my now-wife Kouvr saved me,” Warren said. “Nothing I have or have done is possible without her. This song is written to her as a way of expressing that.”

The music video, directed by Andrew Donoho, premiered during a special iHeart x TikTok livestream event in Los Angeles.

“RESCUER” arrives ahead of WILDCHILD, due out August 28, and follows recent singles “PASSENGER,” “FINE PLACE TO DIE” and “FEVER DREAM.” Warren said the album explores loss, grief and healing, marking a shift from the emotional place of his 2025 debut YOU’LL BE ALRIGHT, KID. “Compared to my first album which feels like a man who is broken, this one is a man who’s trying to heal,” he said.

The album takes its title from the nickname Warren’s late father gave him growing up, one he still has tattooed on him today.
