For each market, consecutive collected chart dates are compared in order. Carryover for a date is the share of that date's chart entries whose match key was also present on the previous collected date for the same market and the same feed; a market's carryover figure is the unweighted mean of those daily shares across every consecutive pair it has. itunes_carryover_pct is computed on the iTunes Store Top Songs chart, apple_carryover_pct on the Apple Music Top Songs chart for the identical market and dates, so the two are directly comparable and any collection gap affects both equally. Because consecutive collected dates are not always consecutive calendar dates, carryover is measured per collection interval rather than per 24 hours, which if anything understates staticness. distinct_itunes_number_ones counts how many distinct normalised title-plus-artist keys ever held iTunes position 1 in that market across its paired days. never_pct is carried over unchanged from the gap dataset so the two can be read against each other.
