Two dates is a comparison, not a trend, and this table cannot distinguish a release ageing out of the chart from a chart reshuffle or a collection gap. No cause is claimed for any individual movement. This table counts only artists the registry places; it therefore excludes every artist in the companion table of unplaced acts. Country of origin is taken from this desk's roster, which resolves each charting artist against the MusicBrainz registry, preferring the artist MusicBrainz links to that exact Spotify profile and falling back to a name search where no link exists. Origin as currently registered is applied to every date, so a later correction moves the whole comparison rather than only future points.
