Streams for an absent date are recorded as 0, not blank, because absence here means the artist earned zero chart streams outside Africa's four charted markets on that date, which this desk's per-date datasets can state with confidence since each is a full population of African-origin chart entries, not a top-50 subset. The six collection dates are unevenly spaced (15, 2, 5, 2 and 6 days apart) and this is disclosed rather than smoothed: a short gap and a long gap are not equally informative about persistence, and this dataset cannot distinguish a release ageing out of a market's Top 200 from a genuine change in an artist's audience abroad.
