Spotify's global chart is excluded on every date because it aggregates the country charts. african_share_pct is african_streams divided by chart_streams. share_at_13aug_pool_pct holds the denominator fixed at the 13 August 2026 value of 733,592,014 charted streams and divides each date's African streams by that constant, so the column moves only when African streams move. denominator_effect_pts is the actual share minus that counterfactual share, in percentage points: it is the part of the measured share that comes from the charted pool being a different size rather than from African streams being a different size. Origin is applied as currently registered, to every date, so a corrected artist is corrected across the whole series. Dates are collection dates; a gap is a gap in collection, not a zero.
