The excluding rows subtract Seyi Vibez's summed daily chart streams on Nigeria's chart, 8,209,783 on 20 September and 5,409,316 on 21 September, from the numerator only; the denominator is left unchanged, because the question asked is what share of the same measured chart universe African artists hold once one artist is set aside, not what the charts would have looked like had he not released. The final row is the lowest African share in the 25 collection dates this desk has measured since 13 August 2026, 2.109 per cent, reached on 6 September and again on 16 September; the stream counts on that row are the 6 September figures. Seyi Vibez charted on exactly one of the 75 markets on both dates, Nigeria, so removing him changes no other market's contribution. This is a leave-one-out sensitivity test on a measured share, not a counterfactual forecast of what would have happened. Two further rows apply the alternative treatment, subtracting the same artist from the denominator as well as the numerator.
