Spotify's aggregated Global chart is excluded throughout because it duplicates the country charts rather than adding to them. Every chart entry is credited in full to its lead artist and the lead artist's country of origin is applied as currently registered to every date in the series, so a corrected origin is corrected across the whole series rather than only going forward, which means these two readings are computed on identical rules. The final row, markets carrying no African artist, is 75 less the count of markets carrying one, 75 being every country chart Spotify publishes. change_pct is the 28 August value less the 13 August value, divided by the 13 August value, to one decimal place.
